The world is struggling against COVID-19 amidst there political, social, and economic issues, in developed and developing countries equally. The pandemic, has exposed the deficient system unable to thrive through a sudden change, especially in health sector. The businesses have seen an unbearable loss, with equivalent impact on workforce left in astray without adequate supply of essential items including medicines, food and cloths. Retuning the world – COVID-19 is still in books but how?

In absence of urgent socio-economic rejoinders, global suffering will further deteriorate, jeopardizing lives in time to come. A number of business entities are closed and others on verge of collapse, the remaining are reevaluating strategies to combat the worsening situation, which for the time being is supported by government subsidies and stimulus packages. Millions of people have lost their jobs and cannot pay their bills, rents and groceries.

The social distancing and eventual restrictions shows, a spike in domestic violence with obvious bearing on finances, health and security stresses, and reduced peer support.

COVID-19 pandemic has left perpetual impact on our lives as individuals and as society. It has altered the priorities of life in terms of economic and financial aspects. With countless experts suggesting the digital transformation of consumer markets, and new ways to communicate and deliver services, no one has any clue, about where the consumers will get the money to buy?

Globally, businesses are experiencing exceptional workforce disruption. Virtually all companies are still determining, the short and long term impact of COVID19 related changes, in the absence of any reliable data.

The businesses are opening up, still under strict guidelines, keeping the physical distancing measures intact, limiting the number of customers, and monitoring the temperature checks. This does not necessarily suggest the control on COVID19, rather a frustration out of falling economy, and financial situation of the individuals.

The governments need to set out clear priorities of their economic revival policies, keeping in mind the supply and demand factors. Essential supplies including food, medicines and clothing must be the priority. Phasing out specific relaxation measures is essential in order to protect the people.

Equally, a greater responsibility lies on individuals in keeping themselves healthy and effective, following the instructions by the health authorities. Keeping their homes and workplaces clean, using disinfectants and washing hands regularly.
