We are living in an extraordinary time of history where a Pandemic has changed everything, the way we used to think of our lives and work— cities, regions and countries across the globe are in a state of locked-down in an attempt to ‘flatten the curve’ and contain the spread of the deadly virus.
This has pushed the economies and individuals to think in newer ways of work spaces. With social distancing nearly at end, there is a new wave of digital markets being evolved which were resistant previously.This is not easy for a majority of people, this whole shift is going to be massive.
Our current school of managers are dependent on structure of physical offices and meetings which very much concedes with the human nature of social interaction. The people like to meet each other and interact, there is importance of handshakes and discussions.In past decade there has been an enormous development of newer computer applications which were presumed to replace the physical presence in business structure. Unfortunately these were only successful in very few of the cases.
The human nature predominantly kept its physical aspect in majority of places.However, they have evolved into a new way of communication for people which were previously not into the major stream. With TikTok, Youtube and many other became the household ways for making money online. The game development also became a dream come true with introduction of platforms like Unity, which outdated the need of organized business.
With this new wave of digital workspace uproar, the question remains the same ”can it overcome the human nature of physical interaction”?
